Haley Harris brings a unique blend of expertise and empathy to her work in a Texas skilled nursing facility. “Some of these residents have lived incredible lives,” she shares, her voice filled with admiration. “They deserve the same quality of care as anyone else, and that’s what I strive to provide every day.”
Supporting Emotional and Social Well-Being
Haley’s dedication to creating a positive and engaging environment for her residents extends beyond traditional methods. She brings her dog to work each day, adding a unique element of joy and connection to the facility.
“The residents really enjoy that,” she shares. “So that’s another way I can connect with them. And, it’s just personal, you know, you really connect with them on an individual level.”
This simple act speaks volumes about Haley’s commitment to providing holistic care that addresses not only her patients’ physical needs but also their emotional and social well-being.
Her Experience with MedElite and Infinite
“I love this role probably above any other role I’ve had because of the autonomy,” Haley shares, highlighting one of the key aspects she appreciates about working with MedElite. “MedElite and Infinite set out their expectations for you… and they set you free to do it.”
This freedom, coupled with the readily available support from colleagues, empowers Haley to provide truly personalized care. “They do have a nurse practitioner that is above me who I can reach out to with any questions.” she adds.
Haley’s story also reveals MedElite’s genuine commitment to their employees’ well-being. She recounts a time when her son needed a medical procedure, and she was worried about a potential lapse in health insurance coverage. MedElite responded with unwavering support, ensuring her benefits continued without interruption. “My kid had a medical procedure coming up, and I couldn’t have a lack of health insurance during that time,” she explains. “They said, ‘We’ll get your health insurance started on the day that you start. That way you don’t have anything to worry about.’ And they did, and everything was seamless. And my kid was able to have her medical procedure.”
This experience reinforced Haley’s belief that she was part of something special – a company that truly cares about its employees. “It just reminded me that I was working for the right people who genuinely care about you.”
