Brittany brings a vibrant energy and high level of passion to the Brooklyn MedElite office. As a Care Coordinator, she ensures every detail within a resident’s medical record supports optimal, proactive care. But, as a member of the team, she ensures colleagues feel supported and at ease, embodying a collaborative spirit that lifts everyone around her.
In her own words, she aims to live by Maya Angelou’s profound quote: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” For Brittany, this means every behind-the-scenes interaction matters, and she takes pride in the work she does each day.

Finding Her Calling
“From a young age, I found myself drawn to the world of healthcare,” Brittany shares, recalling the summers spent at her aunt’s medical center. She watched interactions filled with kindness, care, and confidence, witnessing firsthand the profound impact healthcare professionals could have. “I admired the sense of purpose behind what they did.”
But it was a very personal moment in 2016 that truly set her path. “My son became ill and experienced a febrile seizure. Watching him go through that was terrifying—a feeling of helplessness I’ll never forget.” What stood out just as strongly was the medical team’s calm, skilled, and compassionate response, not just to her son, but to her as a parent. “In that moment, I saw how powerful compassion, knowledge, and action could be when combined in the hands of medical professionals.” This experience sparked Brittany’s drive to contribute to that same powerful care, leading her to MedElite.
Ensuring Patient Safety & Compliance
Today, as a CCM Coordinator, Brittany channels that powerful blend of compassion and meticulous knowledge into her daily work. “A key part of my role involves reviewing each patient’s chart for up-to-date immunization records and verifying that necessary consent forms are completed and properly filed,” she explains. These vital steps are not just for legal and regulatory compliance; they are critical for direct patient safety.
Ensuring current vaccines protects vulnerable residents from preventable illnesses, while confirming consent ensures care is given ethically and with the patient’s full understanding. Brittany’s work is key for proactive management, significantly reducing the likelihood of a resident’s condition worsening to require hospitalization.
