Michael Yakubov. OD
Michael Yakubov, OD, earned his Bachelor of Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Optometry from State University of Optometry in New York. Dr. Yakubov completed externships in several different modes of practice. It was there that he gained an understanding of ocular disease and treatment. He participated in comprehensive eye examinations; cataract, glaucoma, diabetes, hypertension, macular degeneration evaluations; as well as pediatric and geriatric eye care. Dr. Yakubov also completed an externship at the East New York Diagnostic Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he gained valuable experience in diagnoses of ocular disease pertaining to overall systemic health. He then joined Med Elite Healthcare Group as medical director overseeing and guiding all operations pertaining to optometric care. Today, Dr. Yakubov performs comprehensive eye examinations, with special emphasis on eye health. Dr. Yakubov diagnoses diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts and other ocular pathology. He also has a special interest in contact lenses. Dr. Yakubov fits a wide variety of lenses at a private practice in Queens. In his spare time, Dr. Yakubov likes to spend quality time with his wife and children, and their extended family. He also enjoys reading, biking and outdoor sports.

Daniel Berman, M.D. is a Board certified Infectious Disease specialist, who has been a consultant in private practice primarily in acute care hospitals and rehabilitation centers for over 30 years. He graduated New York University Medical Center in 1982 and did his residency in Internal Medicine at the New York University Medical Center. Following residency, he did a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital and New York University Medical Center, and then went into private practice in 1987. He has practiced in the Bronx since 1989, also practicing in White Plains from 1987 through 2000. He is currently on staff at the Montefiore Medical Center where he has become the busiest Infectious Disease consultant. He has written numerous articles in medical journals. He also has been named as one of the top physicians in New York by New York magazine.
